Seniors play their final game in Ariel Arena


Eric Roby is a forward from Plain City, Ohio. Roby is studying computer science and plans on pursuing a career in computer programming back

in his hometown.

Roby transferred from Tiffin University after his freshman year. He has appeared in 91 games, averaging 12 points and five rebounds per game in his three years at MVNU.

Roby scored his 1,000th career point on Jan. 19 against Indiana Wesleyan University.

His best memories come from the friends and teammates that he has grown close to over the past three years.

Jacob Starinksy is a guard from Hilliard, Ohio. Starinsky is a mathematics major with a minor in computer science.

After graduating, he intends on finding a job in IT.

“My favorite memory is from senior night,” Starinsky said. “So many friends and family had the opportunity to come and support me in my final game at Ariel Arena.”

Starinsky says his parents have been his biggest supporters, and his teammates have become like family.

As a backup ball handler for the Cougars this year, Starinsky averaged 2.1 points per game.
