Women’s History Month Final Events

Celebrate Women March: On Monday, March 30, from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m., you can participate in a march that will begin at the Chapel with a short prayer then head down Campus Drive making a right on Cougar Drive and circling back around to the Eternal Flame to end with prayer.

The march is meant to honor inspirational women in our lives, encourage and uplift women in prayer, and advocate support for the role of women. WomenSpeak 2015: WomenSpeak will feature a diverse panel of women speakers of all ages and backgrounds, including students and faculty. The event is scheduled for Monday, March 30, at 7 p.m. in JSB 133.

The event coordinators are still welcoming speakers. You can share in a variety of ways: dance, spoken word, a personal story, scripture, a reading, poetry, visual art, song, etc. Anyone interested in sharing should email Mariah Powell at powellmr@mail.mvnu.edu. Both men and women are welcome to attend these events.
