At Wooster, junior Jake Sherer led the Cougars with a third place finish in the 800 meters.

Other standouts included Carl Jones, who received seventh place in the 100-meter dash, and Sam Nordquist, who took fourth place in the high jump and long jump field events.

The women’s most recent meet was last weekend at West Virginia Wesleyan College, where the Lady Cougars placed fifth overall. Standing out at the WVWC Invitational was Annie Winkler with a first- place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Bogantz received fifth place in the 800-meter run and Bolha took fifth in the 400-meter hurdles.
