Volleyball takes two victories

The Lady Cougars volleyball team ended the weekend with a pair of wins over Taylor University (25-22, 19-25, 25-21, 25-18) and Bethel College (25-22, 25-23, 25-12).

The wins improved the team’s record to 18-2 on the season and 4-0 in league play. Sophomore Kristen Osborn powered the team with a total of 29 kills over the two games to go with 28 digs. Senior Annelise Rohrer also tallied 29 kills over the weekend. Junior Alyson Near recorded 24 kills while senior Ashley Gingerich totaled 40 digs in the two games.

The Lady Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday as they host the University of Saint Francis at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live at wnzr.tv.
