Setting new records

MVNU volleyball Head Coach Paul Swanson, earned his 1,100th career win during senior night against Ohio Christian University on Thursday, Oct. 27. Swanson holds a career record of 1,104-404. During his time at MVNU Swanson has been awarded many honors. He was inducted into the NCCAA Hall of Fame in 2005 while MVNU was a member school. In 2006 he was added to the MVNU Cougar Wall of Fame and the NAIA Hall of Fame in 2008. Swanson was honored as the first NAIA women’s volleyball coach to tally 1,000 victories in 2012. A graduate of North Park College in 1975, Swanson came to MVNU from Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania.
